Censorship, while generally an abhorrent practice, can occasionally be funny. Consider the following:

I was watching one of the Die Hard movies, I think it was the third one, on USA, or possibly TNT or TBS...point is, it was one of the cable networks. Anyway, at one point in the script, Samuel L. Jackson's character calls Bruce Willis' a "racist motherfucker." However, in the TV edit, this is overdubbed as "Racist Melon Farmer." I was watching this, and I thought, "Hey, that would make a pretty good song title."

So anyway, the idea sort of floated around in my head for awhile, and eventually wound up as this song right here, a nifty little blues number about one man's quest to purchase melons from a bigoted farmer. Enjoy.
