The second Styop Quoons Experience album, notably less shitty than the first. This album is noteworthy as being the first album on which I actually play guitar, instead of just programming GarageBand instruments.

Just about every selection on this album, with the exception of the weird vocal filler tracks, were recorded on different Thursdays. At the time I was working on this, Thursday was a day I was always guaranteed to have off, so I designated it as music day. In case you haven't figured it out by now, that is why the album is called Taking Back Thursday. Who am I taking it back from? Uh, I'm not sure. How about that band Taking Back Sunday. They had no permission to take that particular day, so I'm taking Thursday from them. They can suck it. If you are in that band and are reading this, then suck it. And you're not allowed to sue me for illegal use of your album cover, either, because I took the rights to it along with Thursday. Where was I going with this? Oh, yeah.

The aforementioned weird vocal tracks were taken from recordings a friend and I made in high school. "The Fish" is a recording of an actual phone call we made. The intro is from a really weird sound file that he sent to me at one point.
